As this popular market town is a hotspot for walkers and cyclists, you will find a number of places to eat in the town and neighbouring villages.

Like many of the towns in the Lincolnshire Wolds, Market Rasen is also home to a number of pubs. Once the heart and soul of the community, some of the historic inns here have been welcoming visitors for centuries.

With delicious food and local ales on the menu, the pubs in Market Rasen offer a great taste of Lincolnshire food – and hospitality.

In the town centre, the award-winning Advocate Arms is a favourite haunt of both locals and visitors. Offering a diverse fine dining menu, the chefs here are famed for their innovative creations, and use only the finest Lincolnshire produce in their dishes.

Just across the market place, you will also find the Aston Arms. Written into Lincolnshire legend, it is though that this pub was the subject of Elton John’s hit song 'Saturday Night's Alright'. Songwriter Bernie Taupin, who grew up in the area, apparently based the lyrics on his experiences at the pub in the 1970s.
