This is a ride from Caistor to visit the iconic Humber Bridge. Along with visiting the bridge the ride passes through some lovely countryside and has commanding views over North Lincolnshire.

There are some interesting climbs and one or two that will test you. The ride climbs out of Caistor, but then heads down again towards Great Limber and this up and down is the theme of this ride. On route you pass the road that leads to Brocklesby Hall a Grade 1 listed building and the New Inn that is in the centre of the estate. You will go through Wootton which was partly owned by the half brother of William the Conqueror.

Further on the ride you will cycle through Melton Ross, who had a stormy relationship with a neighbouring village for over 200 years. After climbing out of Melton Ross you will descend into Bigby, who is one of four villages in Lincolnshire to be a Thankful Village, as no one in the from there lost their lives in the First World War. The climb through the wooded area at Somerby gets the blood pumping, but is delightful as well.
